During an earlier press conference, Rutte declined to elaborate on the mechanics of a potential ceasefire, instead urging ukraine’s supporters to “focus on the matter at hand,” which is “ensuring that Ukraine has what it needs to prevent Putin from winning and for ukraine to prevail,” he stressed, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
