രാജാവു പിടിച്ച ഉഡുമ്പിൻ വാൽ … | Kothamangalam King cobra

Kothamangalam: Rajavempala was mistaken for a victim and was bitten on the tail by a cobra. The bitten lizard returned and bit Vempala. The two clashed for a long time. The collision took place on a road in the Karimpani forest between a 15-foot-long king cobra and a medium-sized iguana.

This rare scene was captured on a mobile phone by the forest rangers who went on a beat patrol on Sunday. The encounter was more exciting than curious.

The king cobra, which usually eats other snakes, saw the tail among the plants and thought it was a snake. The lizard tried desperately to escape the bite, but Vempala did not. The forest rangers said that the lizard was not poisoned because it was bitten which was thought to be fodder.

The iguana bit back into the middle of the cobra. The rangers watched the scene for about ten minutes. The grip started before they arrived. Udumba was the first to be caught and escaped to the forest. During the race, Udumba turned around to see if Vempala was following him and escaped by climbing a tree.

When the iguana was captured, the king cobra was bitten and crawled into the forest.
