On the other hand, the number of cafes and convenience stores is still increasing.

The government’s ban on gatherings and business restrictions to prevent the spread of Corona took a direct hit on pubs and bars across the country.

According to the monthly statistics of ‘100 households’ released by the National Tax Service, the number of registered hop stores nationwide at the end of May this year decreased by 3,636 from a year ago.

This is a decrease of 11.6% compared to the same month last year.

The number of registered snack bars also decreased by 1,900, down 14.1%.

Private gatherings of more than 5 people are prohibited due to corona quarantine measures, and pubs and pubs have closed their doors as the business is closed after 10 pm.

The number of karaoke rooms, which suffered a major blow to sales, also decreased by more than 1,500 in one year.

The number of registered travel agencies also decreased by about 600 in one year, and PC rooms and wedding halls all decreased.

These are industries that are highly affected by quarantine measures such as social distancing and business hours restrictions.

On the other hand, the number of mail-order registrars selling products online soared by more than 103,000 from a year ago.

Coffee drink shops, Korean food restaurants and convenience stores also increased compared to a year ago.

In addition, pensions and guest houses, skin care businesses, indoor screen golf stores, and interior decoration stores have also increased.

Of the total 100 industries, the number of registered companies decreased in 20 industries compared to a year ago, and the number of companies in the remaining 80 industries increased.
