India ‘herd immunity’ after coronavirus pandemic tragedy

There is a report that India, which has been experiencing an explosion in the corona virus, has reached herd immunity.

It is an analysis that it is the result of a terrible large-scale infection, not the herd immunity obtained by vaccine.

If the immune system is weakened, there is a fear of a tertiary spread, leading to black mold disease and natural disasters, making quarantine more difficult.

India suffered a severe explosion in May with 400,000 new confirmed cases per day.

Two months later, in July, the number of new infections per day decreased significantly to 40,000, about one-tenth.

Recently, the Indian government published a study finding that 70% of the population in eight major states had antibodies to the coronavirus.

India’s secondary vaccination rate is low at about 7%, so most of them are not vaccinated, but have recovered from coronavirus and have antibodies.

In fact, it has reached the level of herd immunity after excruciating the spread of infection and making great sacrifices.

However, despite the government’s announcement, there is a reaction among citizens that they are not yet relieved.

Rather, it is said that if the news that herd immunity has been formed, it may lower the awareness of citizens about the prevention of the corona virus.

Damage from black mold, which started with the spread of Corona, is still a problem.

Over the past two months, over 4,000 people have died from black mold in India, with a mortality rate of about 10%.

In addition, the worst flood in 40 years occurred due to the influence of the monsoon, which is a monsoon, and there is growing concern about damage to mold due to poor hygiene and reduced immunity.

Amid a series of adverse events such as black mold and natural disasters, there are warnings that a crisis may strike again in India.

Experts are emphasizing the need to follow quarantine rules such as vaccination and wearing a mask as immunity from the 1st and 2nd epidemics is weakened, and the emergence of new mutations and the lifting of quarantine regulations can lead to the third wave of Corona.
