Yes, as the arctic cold came in overnight, the cold, icy wave came.
The temperature dropped by more than 15 degrees in just one day.
This morning in Seoul, the temperature has dropped to about 16 degrees, and the perceived temperature reaches -24.
The biggest drop in temperature occurred in the center inland, where a cold wave warning was issued.
The temperature of Mt. Seorak in Gangwon-do is -26 degrees, the coldest in the country.
Cheorwon and Paju degrees -17, Incheon -15 degrees, and southern provinces show about -7 degrees.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government has issued a ‘severe’ level of freezing forecast for water meters at 9:00 am today as the daily minimum temperature is expected to be below -15 degrees for two consecutive days.
