The film ‘Decision to Break Up’ won three awards at the 58th Grand Bell Awards.
Yesterday at the Grand Bell Film Festival held at Konkuk University’s New Millennium Hall, ‘Decision to Break Up’ won Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Script.
‘Life is Beautiful’ also won three categories, including the Best Actress and Music Awards, and the ‘New Wave Award for Best Actor’ which was given to a new actor.
‘Sin City 2’ also received three awards, including Best Cinematography and Editing, and ‘The People’s Award for Best Actor’ given to an actor who has shown an extraordinary performance for the year.
The Best Director award went to Byun Seong-hyeon, who directed ‘Kingmaker’.
The Achievement Award given to a filmmaker who has contributed to the development of Korean cinema was given to Ahn Seong-ki, a ‘national actor’ who was recently known to have battled cancer.
