A report has come in that even though a confirmed case of Corona 19 occurred at an apartment construction site under construction by a large construction company, the construction continued without properly notifying the site workers.
The cumulative number of infected people exceeded 40 as the identification of the group infection was delayed, but the construction company is repeating that there is no problem.

Over the past full week, more than 40 cumulative confirmed cases have been pouring in, but field workers have revealed that they did not even know that the confirmed cases were still coming out.
It was hidden by the builder.
Right now, there were two confirmed cases among the workers on Friday last week, and construction is proceeding without closure of the site.
“(Are there no confirmed cases yesterday?) Yes, no.”
Even when the first confirmed case occurred, the construction company did not properly inform the relevant facts.
The first worker was confirmed on the 4th, but the workers found out about the cluster infection two days later, when eight people at the screening laboratory set up on the site accidentally tested positive.

Since then, as the infection spread, the number of infected people continued to rise even after the construction site was closed during the Hangeul Day holiday, and the number of infections increased to 40.
Workers complain that the construction company is not accurately reporting the status of the group infection, and the work is being carried out, and the anxiety is growing.

On the other hand, the construction company is fighting that there is no big problem as only people who have tested negative are allowed to enter the site.

However, it is also pointed out that it is absurd that the workers who worked in the same field as the confirmed person are checking contacts or blocking the infection without their knowledge.

Earlier, in August, other construction sites in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, closed construction sites on the same day that the first confirmed case was confirmed to suppress group infection at the site as much as possible.

The construction company said that it notified the public health center the day after the confirmed case was confirmed, but the explanation of the quarantine authorities was different.
[서울 동대문구보건소 관계자 : 주말에 저희가 전화해서 확진자가 있었느냐고 물어보니까 있었다고 하더라고요. 그런 얘기는 그때 들었고. (당시) 따로 확진이 나와서 검사하는 줄은 몰랐어요.]
The public health center decided to check whether there were any violations of quarantine measures while monitoring the spread of infection at the construction site.
