LeBron James has surpassed legend Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA’s new all-time leading scorer.
James of the Los Angeles Lakers scored his 36th point in a home game against Oklahoma City with 10.9 seconds left in the third quarter to break a career high of 38,388 points, a record that had not been broken in 34 years.
He scored 38,390 points in his career with 38 points in this game, and the Lakers are down 130-133.
James, who made his Cleveland debut in the 2003-2004 season, set another milestone after winning four championship and regular league MVP awards each.
