[아시아에이 TV] Samsung QLED and LG OLED TVs to ‘clash’ with new 2022 TVs

[아시아에이=이조은 기자] Recently, Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics competed by introducing their new lineup of 2022 TVs.

Samsung Electronics introduced the Neo QLED TV, and LG Electronics took the lead with the new OLED EVO.

This year, Samsung Electronics has strengthened its Neo QLED 8K and 75-inch and larger TV lineup. Neo QLED has a total of 21 models, all available in 8K and 4K resolutions.

According to Samsung Electronics, the 2022 Neo QLED is equipped with an advanced ‘Neo Quantum Processor’, new picture quality technology, and a richer sound system. The smart hub function has also been enhanced.

LG Electronics has released a total of 22 models of 2022 OLED TVs in the global and domestic markets. The 2022 LG OLED EVO is equipped with a 5th generation AI alpha 9 processor, which is equipped with HDR and image quality processing technology that enhances color expression.

In particular, OLED EVO Gallery Edition has become brighter and clearer through its proprietary image processing technology and thermal control technology. The new 97-inch model, the world’s largest, measuring about 246 centimeters in diagonal, is scheduled to be released within this year.

The world’s smallest 42-inch new product with a diagonal of about 106 centimeters has been added to the OLED EVO regular model.
