Mokpo, Jeollanam-do, which was one of the three major ports in the late Han Dynasty and one of the six major cities, is preparing to take off as the No.

In order to welcome the ‘second opening of the port’, we are dreaming of revitalization as a young economic city by creating an industrial complex where young people can return.

A 3.2 km long maritime cable car that crosses the sea off Mokpo.

You can see Yudalsan Mountain and the archipelago made of strange rocks at a glance.

The highlight of Mokpo tourism is the romantic night sea.

When darkness falls, a spectacular fireworks show with fountains unfolds over the sea.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 10 million tourists have visited Mokpo in the past two years.

Mokpo City has started to revitalize tourism with the goal of attracting 20 million tourists.

By 2025, hotels with 1,400 rooms will be built throughout Mokpo city center.

A bridge is connected to Samhakdo to create a nature-friendly eco-park tourist attraction.

Mayor Park Hong-ryul, who was re-elected as a stepping stone for the first time in four years, announced that he would develop the Mokpo Port area into a maritime logistics base in the southwest region.

At the same time, we plan to create a youth smart industrial complex to create jobs.
