While the opposition and opposition parties were clashing with each other over the handling of the supplementary budget bill, including compensation for losses for small business owners, the ruling and opposition party leaders met presided over by National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok.

As for our party’s position, it is possible to provide support for disaster subsidies to small business owners at a level that the government agrees to first, and to provide support for parts that were not reflected after the election even to the level claimed by the opposition party.

Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung also said that an additional budget of about 35 trillion won was needed, and our candidate Yoon Seok-yeol has already expressed his opinion that an additional budget of about 50 trillion is needed.
If yes, then I think that it is the right thing for the people to do when this supplementary budget is organized at least between the 35th and 50th Articles, or somewhere in between.
In line with this, we are clearly explaining the position that the damage subsidy for small businesses submitted by the People’s Power of Korea, which is currently 1 million won, must be 10 million to be properly compensated. We have a firm stance that the budget should be dealt with so that 10 million won each can be supported.
In addition, the loss compensation rate should be raised from the current 80% to 100%. It is said that only then will the loss be properly compensated, and that the budget supplementary budget that the lower limit of loss compensation is currently 500,000 won should be raised to 1 million won is necessary.
Retroactive application of loss compensation is essential, and since businesses such as culture, sports, tourism, and accommodation are currently in a blind spot for support, active consideration and support for these people must be reflected in this supplementary budget. So, I am in the position that I need to include all of these things so that I can handle this as soon as possible, even today, so that I can process it in an increased amount.

To elaborate on our party’s position, in addition to the position that we should provide additional support through the second supplementary budget after the election for parts exceeding 3 million won in disaster support for small businesses, the supplementary budget that can be dealt with now includes support for small businesses. They are of the position that the warmth of the supplementary budget should be conveyed urgently to those who urgently need support because there is support for such people, such as special high schools, corporate taxis, chartered buses, and cultural artists.
Regarding the loss compensation system, I would like to inform you that I was in such a position to deal with the first supplementary budget today as it is necessary to compensate for losses, especially for small businesses with more than 1 billion in sales and also for small businesses such as restaurants and cafes.

There’s no reason to put these things aside so quickly. Since the day is urgent right now, even today, this part should be increased and dealt with immediately. It is said that the reason for the delay is the Word.
