Prime Minister Han Duk-soo criticized unusually strongly, saying that Hong Jang-pyo, president of the Korea Development Institute and KDI, should step down.
Analysts say that the pressure to resign voluntarily from former government officials who remain in government organizations and public institutions will become visible in earnest.

Prime Minister Han Deok-soo struck a direct blow, saying, ‘It should be changed’ to reporters’ questions about the fate of Hong Jang-pyo, president of the Korea Development Institute and KDI.
He continued to criticize with a stronger tone, saying that it was absurd for an income-led growth designer to sit on the KDI ledger when he pointed out that there was still a lot of tenure left.
It shows the uneasy feelings of the Yun Seok-yeol administration toward former government officials who remain in government organizations and public institutions.
Such remarks are also in line with the recent remarks made by President Yoon Seok-yeol toward the President of the Republic of Korea Jeon Hyeon-hee and the Korea Communications Commission Chairman Han Sang-hyeok.
