Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, said he would respond to the prosecution’s request for an additional summons, saying, “I think it’s a price to pay for being the loser in the presidential election.”

Representative Lee Jae-myeong held a press conference in the morning and defined the purpose of the prosecution’s summons as a political act to insult, not to find out the truth.
He said he would pay the price as a loser in the presidential election, and would respond to the prosecution’s request for more subpoenas.

After a while, whether or not to vote on the ‘Amendment to the Grain Management Act’, which forces the government to buy some rice, will be on the plenary meeting agenda.
In December last year, at the plenary meeting of the National Agriculture and Fisheries Commission, the Democratic Party passed the direct referral of the plenary meeting amid opposition from the ruling party, and it was put to a vote after 30 days.
As the Democratic Party has a majority, the lower agenda is expected to pass.
