When do negotiations start?

[기자]

The opposition parties and the opposition parties will operate the ‘Policy Council 2+2’ to review next year’s budget from 4:00pm today.

People’s Power Seong Il-jong, chairman of the policy committee, Kim Seong-hwan, chairman of the policy committee of the Democratic Party, and the secretaries of the ruling and opposition parties meet in one place.

We intend to focus on discussing the issue of a reduction or increase in the amount not reached in the previous sub-committee.

The policy advisory body intends to continue the discussions until tomorrow and present the budget bill to the full meeting on the 8th.

However, if negotiations do not proceed smoothly on issues that have major differences between the governing and opposition parties, such as the tax reform bill, the cost of relocating the presidential office, and the budget for public rental housing, there is a possibility that they will. be resolved through final discussions between the floor leaders.

One of the key issues in the budget bill is the proposal to dismiss Minister Lee Sang-min How is it being discussed?

[기자]

Yes, the ruling and opposition parties are fiercely confronting the proposal to dismiss Public Administration and Security Minister Lee Sang-min.

The people’s power is still in the position of taking responsibility for Minister Lee Sang-min after the parliamentary investigation.

Representative Joo appeared on KBS this morning and said that he knew the Democratic Party would issue an impeachment bill instead of a dismissal bill at the plenary on the 8th or 9th.

If so, he warned that a compromise on the budget bill would be difficult.

In response, the Democratic Party argued that the full meeting’s discussion plan for the dismissal motion proposed last week was still valid.

However, it was announced that the final censure plan for Minister Lee Sang-min was decided by a leadership meeting and a general assembly of members before the plenary on the 8th.

It is understood that he will review the motion to dismiss as well as the impeachment resolution card at the same time.

The conflict is expected to continue for a while as the Democratic Party’s position that the processing of the budget bill and the motion to dismiss are linked and the Democratic Party’s position that they should be considered separately is sharp.

So far, it has been presented in the National Assembly.
