Today I show you five quick DIY advent calendars that you can make yourself with the Cricut Joy and the Cricut Maker 3. This includes an advent calendar postcard, a DIY photo advent calendar made of paper, a car winter landscape advent calendar to slide, a classic paper bag advent calendar with stickers and a bag of advent calendars with glitter Iron-On.

You can easily make the card advent calendar yourself with the Cricut Joy. It is written and cut. The message “Merry Christmas” is hidden behind the little door. You can also customize the little message yourself. I’m using a Cricut cutaway card here, which already has a built-in adhesive surface. Tip: You can now easily implement such maps with the Cricut Explore or Maker, since there is now a suitable one here card mat (AL) gives.

Materials I used:

You can find the project for the map directly in my Design Space profile:

This is a classic paper advent calendar with photos. The doors are embossed and perforated by the maker (3). You can let your imagination run wild when designing the doors. Great are photos of the child for the grandparents, sayings, vouchers, coloring pictures for children and and and.

What I used for the advent calendar:

Here you can find the project in my Design Space:

I am particularly proud of my automatic sliding advent calendar. This is a small calendar made of heavy chipboard (2 mm chipboard) with a small car on a small rail that you can push a little further every day. You can design the advent calendar in a minimalist way or paint it brightly together with the children. The great thing is, you don’t have to fill the calendar and you can use it again and again every year.

What I used for the reusable advent calendar:

The paper bag advent calendar is an absolute classic. Here I created pretty number stickers out of printable vinyl foil using the Print then Cut function. Alternatively, you could also use small boxes, cans or jars.

What I used for the calendar:

A sewn advent calendar is of course also something nice! But sewing 24 bags can quickly become exhausting. That’s why I’m showing you a variant here, with only two seams per bag. The glittering numbers made of Iron-On make the advent calendar bag a real eye-catcher.

What I used for the little bag of advent calendars:

With the Cricut machines you can do so much more than advent calendars. I have the Cricut Joy and the Cricut Maker 3. The uses are endless and my DIY projects have taken a whole new level of professionalism! Once a month I present you my new Cricut creations. The most important materials such as suitable tools, heat transfer presses, foils, paper and much more can also be found at Cricut.
