’68 points’ Arsenal returns to the lead, beating Liverpool by 1 point

In the hotly contested English Premier League, Arsenal defeated Luton Town and returned to the lead.

Arsenal took the lead with Odegaard’s goal in the 25th minute of the first half.

After exchanging passes with Havertz, he hit the net with a non-stop left-footed shot.

Arsenal, who were ahead 1-0, scored a lucky additional goal in the 44th minute through an own goal by Luton’s Japanese player Daiki, and won 2-0.

Arsenal, with 68 points, dropped Liverpool, one point behind, to second place and took the lead again.

Manchester City, considered one of the top three title contenders along with Arsenal and Liverpool, defeated Aston Villa 4-1 amid Foden’s hat-trick.

Foden scored his first goal with a free kick in the 46th minute of the first half in a tight 1-1 match, and then scored an additional goal with a left-footed shot in the 17th minute of the second half.

And in the 24th minute of the second half, he completed a hat trick with a surprise mid-range shot, putting a wedge in the game.

Manchester City was tied with Liverpool with 67 points, but fell behind on goal difference and placed third.

Kim Ha-seong of the U.S. professional baseball team San Diego reached base twice in the game against St. Louis, contributing to the team’s 3-2 victory.

Kim Ha-seong, who played as the fifth hitter and shortstop, advanced with a walk in the first inning, then hit a single in front of center field in the third inning and even succeeded in stealing base, going 1 hit and 1 walk in 3 at-bats.

His defensive performance also shined.

In the 8th inning, when the team was down 3-2, with 1 out and runners on 1st and 2nd bases, clean defense resulted in a double out, nullifying St. Louis’ scoring opportunity.
