The Blavet River reached a height of 1.03 meters at⁣ 9:15 AM on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, according too municipal authorities. ‍ The flooding impacted several streets in Pontivy, particularly in the Saint-Niel ⁢area.

Road⁣ Closures and Traffic Diversions

Rue Colbert was closed to traffic and diverted via Rue René Cassin due to the rising water levels. A portion of Rue ⁣Charles-Le Tellier was also blocked near Eureden. The⁢ Stiva zone is also​ affected.

Official Response

Alexandra Le Ny, Deputy Mayor of Pontivy, stated that ⁣the Blavet River overflowed in Saint-Niel, reaching the bridge deck on Rue Colbert.⁤ Municipal services are actively monitoring the‍ situation‌ and managing the response to the flooding.
