Pogranichnik: Enabling Physical Teams in Arknights: Endfield

Arknights: Endfield’s Physical teams benefit significantly from operators capable of managing Vulnerability stacks and converting them into damage. , it became clear that Pogranichnik is uniquely positioned to fulfill this role, reliably applying Breach and reducing enemy Physical Resistance while consuming Vulnerability. This makes Pogranichnik a cornerstone of Physical-focused compositions.

Core Mechanics and Skill Rotations

Effective use of Pogranichnik revolves around synchronizing SP generation, building Vulnerability stacks, and efficiently consuming them to maximize damage output and maintain skill uptime. A core rotation involves a coordinated sequence of operator skills.

The sequence begins with a player-controlled operator using their Final Strike to generate initial SP, preparing for subsequent steps. Following this, Endmin’s Battle Skill applies the first Vulnerability stack to the enemy. Chen’s Battle Skill and Combo Skill then add two more Vulnerability stacks, alongside a Lift effect for enhanced enemy control.

Next, Endmin’s Combo Skill supports the offensive sequence and maintains pressure on the enemy. Ember or Chen’s Battle Skill can then apply an additional Vulnerability stack, depending on readiness, bringing the total to the desired level. Another Final Strike is used to generate more SP, ensuring sufficient energy for Pogranichnik’s skills.

Once the stacks are complete, Pogranichnik’s Battle Skill consumes the Vulnerability stacks and applies Breach to the enemy – a pivotal moment in the rotation. This is immediately followed by Pogranichnik’s Combo Skill to inflict significant damage and restore a substantial amount of SP to the team. An additional Final Strike can be executed if more SP is needed before proceeding.

The cycle continues with Chen reapplying two Vulnerability stacks to maintain negative effects on the enemy. Endmin’s Combo Skill then applies Originium Crystals, increasing the Physical damage received by the enemy. The sequence concludes with Endmin’s Battle Skill or Ultimate, depending on the battle situation and the need for a quick resolution.

The rotation can be expanded by adding additional Vulnerability stacks if Ember’s Combo Skill is available, which is triggered by the enemy directly attacking her.

Consuming four Vulnerability stacks with Pogranichnik’s Battle Skill grants the team approximately seventy-seven SP, nearly enough to activate another full skill.

Optimizing Skill Cycles and Team Alternatives

The skill cycle is most effective when initiated with Pogranichnik’s Ultimate, providing an early advantage and accelerating the team’s overall rhythm. This allows for optimal consumption of Vulnerability stacks and early benefits from team-wide enhancements and SP recovery.

The core team composition can be adjusted with substitutions without compromising the Physical damage and debuffing playstyle. Da Pan can replace Ember, utilizing his Battle Skill and Ultimate to apply Vulnerability with a Lift effect. Caution is advised when using Da Pan’s Combo Skill, as it may consume Vulnerability stacks before Pogranichnik can utilize them, reducing cycle efficiency.

Endmin can also be replaced by Lifeng, who can apply Physical Susceptibility to weaken enemies and increase Physical damage. Lifeng can also apply Link to provide direct enhancements to allies, making him an effective support option. With Lifeng, either he or Chen becomes the primary damage dealer, depending on role distribution and cycle construction.

This composition should be viewed as a flexible framework, adaptable and improvable as the game progresses and new Physical operators become available. As more operators focused on Physical Damage are added, Pogranichnik’s ability to create new synergies and expand his utility within multiple teams will increase. This adaptability enhances Pogranichnik’s long-term value and solidifies his position as a key component of future team compositions in Arknights: Endfield.

Gear and Weapon Recommendations

According to information available as of , Pogranichnik benefits from the “Never Rest” weapon. For gear sets, the Type 50 Yinglung set is recommended, including the armor, gloves (Bonekrusha Poncho T1 and Type 50 Yinglung Gloves T1), and both kits (Type 50 Yinglung Knife). These selections are based on Beta 2 data, and updates are expected as the game evolves.
