At an entertainment bar in Gangnam, Seoul, two people, a female employee in her 30s and a man in her 20s who drank alcohol with suspected narcotics, were killed, and the police launched an investigation.

The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul is investigating a case in which a female employee in her 30s died after drinking alcohol with four customers and one other employee at an entertainment bar in Yeoksam-dong at dawn on the morning of the 5th.

At around 7:54 a.m., when a pub official made the first call to 112, the woman refused to be transported to the hospital and tested for drugs, and sent the police and firefighters back.

Police said a man in his 20s, a customer who drank with him, appeared to have put a suspected drug substance into the woman’s glass.

A man who had put in a suspected drug substance also drove his car alone after drinking and crashed into a facility in a nearby park, and died in his car around 8:30 am.

Police found a substance believed to be a drug in the vehicle, and it is believed that the man died because of a suspected drug substance, not an accident.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident, such as whether the woman who died knew that the alcohol contained suspicious substances and drank from customers and employees who drank together.
