A goalless draw prevailed over the confrontation between Monaco and its guest, Paris Saint-Germain, yesterday, Friday, in the 24th round of the French Football League.

Both teams did not succeed in scoring for 90 minutes, and the referee blew the whistle to end the match in a scoreless draw.

Spaniard Luis Enrique, coach of Saint-Germain, brought in French star Kylian Mbappe as the starter, and took over the captain’s armband in the absence of injured Brazilian international Marquinhos.

But Enrique replaced Mbappe at half-time and replaced international Randall Kolo-Mwani. Mbappe fell on the field for a few minutes in the 27th minute after a struggle over the ball with Chilean defender Guillermo Maripan, as he grabbed his right leg.

Paris Saint-Germain raised its score to 55 points in first place, 12 points ahead of second-placed Brest, which faces Le Havre tomorrow, Sunday, in the same round’s competitions.

On the other hand, Monaco raised its score to 42 points in third place.
