Egypt’s national team is the historic champion of African nations

The Ivorian national team won the African title for the third time in history, after winning the tournament in the 1992 and 2015 editions.

The Ivorian Elephants equaled the Nigerian national team’s titles record, in fourth place on the list of clubs that have won the most African Nations titles in history, with 3 titles each.

The Egyptian national team comes at the top of the list of the most African champions in history with 7 titles, while the Cameroon national team comes in second place with 5 championships, then Ghana 4 titles.
