Huma Abedin, a former top aide to Hillary Clinton, and Alex Soros, son of billionaire George Soros, celebrated their marriage Saturday in a high-profile New York wedding. The ceremony, held at a Soros family estate in Water Mill, N.Y., drew numerous high-profile Democrats.
The New York Times reported that the Hamptons affair included private jets and a concentration of wealth and power. Among the attendees were Bill and Hillary Clinton, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Vice President kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Soros proposed to Abedin in July of last year, announcing the engagement on Instagram.”This happened…we couldn’t be happier, more grateful, or more in love,” Soros wrote, accompanied by a photo of him on one knee.
Abedin told Vogue she “was shocked,not by the fact that he proposed,but it was the timing that made no sense… It was a very hectic, very chaotic day.”
