Actress Emily Wen’s Tumultuous Love Life and Three Marriages

Actress and former beauty queen 溫翠蘋 (Wendy Wen) has navigated an entertainment career and multiple marriages, balancing her role in a classic Stephen Chow film with repeated personal trials, Yahoo新聞 reported.

Born in Taipei on June 4, 1971, Wen entered the entertainment industry after placing second in the 1989 Universal Chinese Miss pageant, later securing 11th place representing Taiwan at the Miss World Universal pageant. Throughout the 1990s, she built a prominent profile as an actress, starring in television series such as 家有仙妻 and action films including 城市獵人 alongside releasing several photography collections.

Stardom in Tang Bohu Dian Qiuxiang and International Moves

Among her extensive film and television credits, audiences remember Wen most vividly for her portrayal of Dongxiang in the 1993 comedy film 唐伯虎點秋香 (Flirting Scholar), starring Stephen Chow. Beyond her acting work, she was known for her fluency in six languages and relocated to Japan in 1996 to expand her professional career.

While living abroad, she met Japanese businessman Saito Yoshiki, whom she married in 1998 after registering their union in Japan and holding a subsequent wedding banquet in Taipei in 1999. The couple welcomed a daughter, Wen Xinwu, before separating amid reports of infidelity, leading to their divorce in 2003.

Retreat to the United States and Subsequent Marriages

In 2014, she married American financial consultant Kevin, but that union unraveled after a few years.

In 2017, Wen publicly disclosed that she and Kevin had separated and were preparing for divorce due to a lack of emotional compatibility, while also alleging financial disputes involving unpayable debts. Throughout her public life, she acknowledged experiencing five intercultural relationships, noting that her first romance at age 18 with an older Argentine partner left a lasting impact.

Public Altercation and Recent Sightings

When officers arrived, Wen declined medical assistance and stated she did not require a protection order, though police formally notified the domestic violence prevention center. She later explained to reporters that both individuals had been drinking, identified the man as a private citizen, and referred to him as family—subsequently revealing her marriage to Michael.

Reporting by 時報週刊CTWANT noted that Wen was later observed interacting closely with her partner during an outing, though representatives for the actress did not respond to inquiries regarding their current relationship status prior to publication.
