‘Beverly Hills’ Shannen Doherty, ‘estate settlement’ for bereaved mother

Hollywood actress Shannen Doherty (52), who is suffering from cancer, shared her unfortunate situation as she sorted out her life.

Shannen Doherty admitted on her podcast ‘Let’s Be Clear’ on the 1st (local time) that her battle with cancer has led to a change in her priorities in life. He said, “Cancer made me look back on my life and change my priorities. My priority now is my mother.”

Shannen Doherty previously revealed that she plans to build a house for herself and her mother, as well as a shelter for horses that are too old and abandoned by their owners or injured horses. But, as his condition worsened recently, he said that he decided to organize it in order to ease the burden on his mother who will have to deal with him after his death.

“I know it will be difficult for her if I die in front of her,” said Shannen Doherty. “I hope it makes other things easier because it’s going to be so hard for her.”

He continued, “I don’t want (my mother) to have four warehouses full of furniture. I’m going through my property to donate or sell the antiques and objects I’ve collected over the years, in case I something happened.”

Shannen Doherty recalled the time she was cleaning out her Tennessee home with her mother, and admitted her complicated feelings, saying, “I cried because I felt like I had given up on my dream. It was difficult and very emotional.”

He said he knew that letting go of this dream would bring him peace and that putting his house in order was “the right thing to do.”

“I can still fulfill my dream of helping horses,” he added. “I can fulfill that dream by participating in rescue activities.” He said liquidating his remaining assets would “leave a cleaner and easier transition” for his family.

Shannen Doherty is an actress who got a lot of love in Korea for her role as Brenda in the drama ‘Beverly Hills Children’ in the 1990s. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2015 and had an operation.

Shannen Doherty also won a lawsuit she filed against her former agency, claiming that her disease worsened because she was not treated properly after being diagnosed with cancer.

In 2016, his cancer spread to his lymph nodes and he had to undergo eight rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. He announced that his condition had improved in 2017, but the cancer came again in 2019, and he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (metastatic cancer) the following year.
