My Unforgettable Experience at Kazuo Funaki’s Concert
On September 8, I had the privilege of attending Kazuo Funaki’s concert at the Misonoza Theater in Nagoya. This was a special event for me, as it was the first time we’ve worked together since our joint concert at the Shin Kabukiza in Osaka in May.
Funaki-senpai is a highly respected singer who is probably currently performing in more concerts than any other active singer. I would like to express my gratitude to him for joining us in May and for sharing his thoughts on singing and the mindset of being on stage.
What struck me most about Funaki-senpai was his kindness and generosity. He is filled with straightforward kindness, and it was evident even in the dressing room. I believe that this kindness is one of the reasons why people go to concerts – to experience that sense of connection and warmth.
Another highlight of the evening was the sense of solidarity I felt with Funaki-senpai’s fans. Many people who had attended our joint concert in May were in the audience, and it was wonderful to see them sharing their impressions with us. I felt a deep sense of connection with these fans, and it was a truly rewarding experience for me.
Between singers and fans who have been together for a long time, there is a deep sense of love and trust. I was grateful to be a part of this experience and to see the impact that Funaki-senpai’s music has had on his fans.
As I reflect on this experience, I am reminded of the power of music to bring people together. It was a truly unforgettable evening, and I feel grateful to have been a part of it.
