Prabhas said that Adipurush is a film made for family and children audience. Prabhas told the online news portal Variety that he was surprised by the way director Om Raut designed the film and that Adipurusha is the most expensive film of his career.
‘Three days after hearing Adipurush’s story, I started to get a little scared. Because it started to look like it was the most valuable film for the country itself. Afraid if I can do it. But Om said that it is good to have such fear. This is the most precious film of my life.
It was Om Raut’s script and the way he combined Indian history and culture that made me sign up for this film. I was amazed by the way he designed this film. I think Om is very well done.
This is a film made for children and a family audience. Even girls love my action sequences. So there are a lot of action sequences in the film. The film is also being made as a commercial film. So the fans will also be happy,’ said Prabhas.
Produced by T-Series and Retrophiles, Adipurush is being shot in Hindi and Telugu languages. It will also be released in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions. Adipurush is slated to release on January 12, 2023. Efforts are being made to release the film in foreign languages as well. For this, discussions are being held with a leading production house in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, after the release of the trailer of the film, Adi Purush received huge drolls. The critics’ response is that even the cartoons shown on a small TV are of a higher quality. Social media has also pointed out similarities with the game Temple Run and the films Planet of the Apes and Avatar.
After Aadipurush, Salaar was directed by Prashant Neel and the project of Ashwin Nag K. These are the films Prabhas is going to act in next. Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone also play the lead roles in Project K.
