eunomia-6 Enhances Interoperability
from September 4-11, 2025, naval and air forces from Cyprus, France, Greece, and Italy participated in the annual Eunomia-6 quadrilateral exercise. This year’s iteration,planned and coordinated by France and Cyprus,took place in the southwestern waters off the coast of Cyprus.
The exercise focused on bolstering coordination between the four nations at both the operational and tactical levels. Scenarios included search and rescue operations, countering asymmetric threats, and defending against cyber attacks. Participants also conducted anti-aircraft and anti-submarine warfare drills,simulated attacks on land targets using combat aircraft,and live-fire surface engagements.
Annual Exercise Reflects Growing Regional Cooperation
Eunomia-6 is not an isolated event. The four countries maintain a high level of military cooperation, working together on a near-daily basis to promote regional stability and enhance maritime security in the Mediterranean Sea. This sustained collaboration underscores a shared commitment to addressing common security challenges.
