The Ismaily Board of Directors announced, in an official statement, honoring the child Maya and her father, Tamer Arafa, after she endured high temperatures during the team’s match against Al-Dakhiliya, yesterday evening, in the Egyptian League.
Al-Ismaili said in the statement: “The administration’s decision to honor the child and her father out of appreciation for them after they attended the match despite the high temperatures, and Engineer Nasr Abu Al-Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was keen to communicate by phone with the child and her father to thank them in appreciation of their support for the team in these difficult weather and climate conditions.”
Yesterday evening, the child Maya appeared in the Ismaili stands, wiping her father’s face, due to the high temperatures, and social media pioneers shared the previous position, commenting: “Precious female companions.”
