The leader of a militia in Uganda has been arrested. He is said to be responsible for the murder of two safari tourists and their guide.

The Ugandan army arrested the head of a militia in a nighttime military operation. The man is held responsible for the murder of two safari tourists and their tour guide, writes “ntv.de”. Six fighters from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) militia, to which the arrested man belonged, were killed in the operation.

A British man and a South African woman died on their honeymoon with their guide during a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park in southwestern Uganda on October 17th. The Ugandan authorities had blamed the attack on the ADF.
