He noted that these roles are notably susceptible to automation as they frequently enough involve routine tasks that AI can easily perform, such as coding and financial research.
Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, a $61.5 billion AI startup, predicts that AI could eliminate half of all entry-level white-collar jobs within one to five years, possibly causing unemployment to rise to between 10% and 20%. Amodei said AI could write almost all of the code for large companies within a year.
