Well, I feel like a moron using three separate bowls and washing my hands every five seconds,
a TikTok user laughed after seeing a viral food preparation trick shared by Australian content creator Aimee Connor.
Ms Connor published a video on TikTok demonstrating a mess-free method for crumbing chicken pieces using a single plastic container, news.com.au reported. The digital creator, known online as Aims, reached her audience of 1.4 million followers with the technique designed to eliminate traditional kitchen clutter.
Aimee Connor Introduces Container Method
The traditional method for preparing crumbed chicken typically requires three separate bowls for flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs, leaving home cooks with messy hands and a cramped dishwasher. Ms Connor bypassed the multi-bowl setup by placing her chicken pieces inside a plastic container and adding ingredients one at a time, shaking between each addition.
I had some chicken pieces that I needed to use up. I almost never buy them pre-cut. I wanted to crumb them because that’s how my family likes to eat them best,
Ms Connor told news.com.au.

She developed the technique spontaneously while preparing dinner. I thought, ‘How do I make this easier for myself?’ I hit record, chucked them in a plastic container, did a few shakes, and away I went, not knowing the outcome myself,
she added.
