Akasa Air backed by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala unveils flight crew uniform featuring sneakers, recycled materials | Akasa Air Uniform : Akasa Air will take off soon; The first look of the staff uniform has been released

Akasha Air, the soon-to-be-launched airline in India, has released images of its staff uniforms. Reports suggest that Aakash Air will start operations by the end of this month. Orange and black uniforms have been prepared for Akasha Air staff. Another special feature is that the uniforms of the employees are made of polyester fabric recycled from plastic waste collected from the sea.

This uniform is inspired by the Indian Bandhgala dress design. The uniforms are designed in a comfortable manner for the employees. The uniform has been designed by Rajesh Pratap Singh. Unlike other airlines, trousers, jackets and sneakers are issued as uniforms.

Akasha Air is the airline that comes with the claim of providing services at a lower ticket price than the budget airline IndiGo in India. Boeing 737 Max aircrafts are arriving for the service. Images of these planes were previously released. Akasha Air is an airline backed by prominent investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. Earlier, the company had announced that the flight service would be available at the beginning of the financial year 2022.

The aircraft is presented in a combination of orange and purple colors. The aircraft was mainly manufactured in parts from Portland, USA. India’s newest budget airline is codenamed QP. Akasha will join Jet Airways, which is returning to Indian aviation.

Akasha plans to operate domestic flights with 18 aircraft by March 2023 connecting metro, tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Apart from leading investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Akasha is being funded by aviation veterans Vinay Dubey and Aditya Ghosh. In August 2021, the Ministry of Civil Aviation had given them a no-objection certificate.
