Alex Warren to Release Expanded Album Featuring jelly Roll Collaboration
Updated June 04, 2025
Singer-songwriter Alex Warren is set to release an expanded version of his 2024 album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid. The new edition, titled You’ll Be Alright, Kid, arrives July 18 via Atlantic Records.
The revamped album features 10 new songs, including the hit single “Ordinary” and a collaboration with Jelly Roll on a track called ”bloodline.”
According to the label, Warren co-wrote most of the new tracks with Cal Shapiro and Mags Duval, with Adam Yaron handling production. These songs reportedly emphasize “healing, resilience and optimism,” a shift from the more grief-stricken themes of the original Chapter 1 release.
Warren is currently on a world tour, with a stop in San Francisco on June 4 and concluding in Columbus, Ohio, on Oct. 15. His hit song “Ordinary” is currently topping charts.
“I only know how to write sad songs or love songs because that’s kind of my two things,” Warren said. “funny enough, my brother joined the military for my mom, and my mom passed away. And then he realized that that was not the life that he wanted. And he struggled with mental health. And so it was something critically important for me…that’s where our relationship really bonded and got strong, over the fact that we both come from a weird bloodline and a weird, traumatic family.”
