Amal Maher talks about her artistic relationship with advisor Turki Al-Sheikh…video

Egyptian singer Amal Maher spoke for the first time about her artistic relationship with His Excellency Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority.

Amal Maher said during an interview with the “Al-Hekaya” program presented by the journalist Amr Adeeb: “I had an artistic relationship and great successes with Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh… and, God willing, there will be successes to come… and I may participate in the Riyadh season.”

Amal Maher also praised the artistic boom in the Kingdom, with the organization of many events, noting that these events inspire great pride, describing these concerts as Hollywood events on Arab soil.

She expressed her desire to participate in the Riyadh season during the coming period, and that she would be very happy if she took this step.

Regarding the rumors of her kidnapping that were circulated last year, she said: “It got to the point where I was telling people, ‘By God, there is no need.’ I sat down for a while, and it was not an easy thing. The first time someone would tell me, I would say, ‘By God, there is no need.’”

She added: “I say, ‘You haven’t kidnapped me.’ They were talking to my son and asking, ‘Is your mother okay?’ They said, ‘Oh, they say, ‘I don’t believe you.’ My relatives were telling me, ‘Send us your voice.’”

She continued: “I said to myself, ‘What is this? Why has the issue reached this point? It has taken on a bigger size than it was,’ adding: ‘I had to tell people that I am fine because the issue has grown even bigger. I came out before or after the world had flown by.’”
