Demonstrations for and against

WASHINGTON – Indians demonstrated in front of the consulate carrying the tricolor flag in solidarity with India, condemning last week’s attack on the Indian Consulate in San Francisco by pro-Khalistan supporters. The demonstrators demanded steps to secure Indian consular offices in the United States and ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the future.

At the same time, Khalistan supporters were chanting slogans and raising flags in London’s Parliament Square, just like in the United States and Canada in recent days. Last Wednesday, they performed in front of the Indian High Commission in London.
