Tech Giants Apple and NVIDIA Eye Major Investment in AI Pioneer OpenAI

Bloomberg later reported that Apple is in talks to invest in OpenAI, and that Nvidia has also “discussed” participating in OpenAI’s funding round. The funding round values the company that owns ChatGPT at more than $10 billion.

Meanwhile, NVIDIA is the supplier of OpenAI’s chips for developing artificial intelligence applications.
Microsoft is also in talks to participate in this new funding round, according to Bloomberg. In 2019, Microsoft invested $100 million in OpenAI, and is set to invest several billion more in 2023.
