iFixit said, “EyeSight seems to be the Achilles heel of repairs,” and “the easily replaceable speaker and battery deserve high marks in terms of repair convenience.”

However, foreign media commented that it would be very difficult for ordinary users to open and repair the headset. The repairability score was not disclosed.

In particular, iFixit explained the ‘Eyesight’ function, which projects images of the wearer’s eyes on the Vision Pro’s external display, saying, “It is not a single video feed, but multiple videos of your eyes.”

In addition, Vision Pro is powered by the M2 chip with an 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 16-core neural engine, and 16GB of integrated memory, and is equipped with up to 1TB of storage, 12 cameras, 5 sensors, and 6 microphones. iFixit said it is equipped with a new R1 chip that makes it feel like content appears right in front of the user’s eyes.
