Epic Games has released an interesting teaser video. ‘The Matrix Awakens’ seems to be related to the movie ‘The Matrix: Resurrection’ scheduled to be released in December.
The teaser released this time is a short 15-second video, in which the world colored with the black background and green digital code unique to the Matrix unfolds for a moment, and Keanu Reeves, who plays the main character Neo, appears and says, “How can you know what is real? ( How do we know, what is real?)”
There is no detailed description of the video, but it is a rough description of ‘the future of interactive storytelling and entertainment provided by Unreal Engine 5’, so it is presumed that Neo appearing in the video is not a real actor but a digital human. In addition, the current trial version can be pre-downloaded on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, so the technology to be showcased in ‘Matrix Awakens’ is not only for B2B, but is estimated to be at a level that can be implemented on current-generation consoles and PCs.
