Asian Stock Markets React to Trump’s Presidential Election Win

Following​ Mr. Donald Trump’s presidential election win, Asian stock ⁣markets experienced⁣ volatility,​ particularly in China, where⁤ tariffs on⁤ various products are expected to ‍be imposed.

The Shanghai Composite Index initially opened 0.7 percent lower but rebounded to close the morning‍ session 0.88 percent higher, driven by strong export numbers.

In South Korea, concerns over​ Trump’s foreign ⁣policy​ led to a 0.19 ⁢percent decline in ​the COSPI index⁢ during the morning session.

In contrast, the Stock Exchange of Thailand closed the morning session 7.14 points or 0.49 percent higher, driven by ⁤positive domestic factors.
