Mexico City, July 24 (ASMexico).- Tremendous problem created the Atlas the use of their social networks. What started as a problem with Gabriel Montiel, influencer better known as “Werevertumorro”ended in a terrible message that caused the inconvenience from Jewish community. The red and black institution used a phrase from Minister I knew Joseph Goebbels for “fend” of the accusations to receive repeated arbitration help.

Atlas posted a Photography in which he demonstrated the forward position which was marked in the final minutes of the match against New York City FC and that the referee had not seen in First instance. Thanks to that, I disallowed the goal of the tie for him american paintinghey the Foxes could retain the 1-0 winin its debut inside of Leagues Cup. But the problem was the message with which they accompanied said image.

“This shot is crystal clear, offside happens on the first play. It is unfortunate how influencers and people from the ‘analyst’ media manipulate by generating ideas of ‘supposed aid’, but remembering what Goebbels, the Nazi Minister of Information (Hitler’s right-hand man) said, applied it perfectly: ‘lie, lie, lie that something will remain, the bigger a lie the more people will believe it’. @werevertumorro,” the club wrote.

On Sunday, Montiel had published: “Today they helped Atlas and they will say, not that the arbitration was against Liga MX. I swear to you that the opinion of a lot of people does influence… do you remember when in Liga MX everyone favored Atlas until people began to point it out and out of nowhere the favors disappeared. Well, something like that happened today. What happened yesterday was rude.”

The reaction of the Foxes came with a message that was very poorly received, due to what it implies to quote the Nazi regime to defend a position. Montiel responded immediately, sarcastically.

“Atlas just made a mention to me explaining the misplacement, citing a Nazi. By the way, explain this to me, but with fascism”, he wrote next to a famous image in which Anderson Santamaría breaks Ignacio Dinenno’s nose with an elbow in the Semifinals, something that the referee did not mark at the time and the Foxes headed for their first title in 70 years.

THE APOLOGY OF ATLAS

Such was the discontent in public opinion that the Rojinegro team had no choice but to apologize. “We at Atlas FC are deeply sorry for the confusion that the use of an unnecessary and sensitive reference in a tweet this morning may have caused. WE REJECT and are against any value that said regime represented in one of the darkest times of humanity. It is precisely what should be avoided in all aspects, ”the club wrote in an official statement.

“We reiterate our solidarity, friendship and affection for the Jewish community and all those who have been victims of barbarity and we reaffirm our commitment to work together as a society and stop defamation, misrepresentation and lies as a petty way of seeking notoriety by harming others,” he added.

He even promised punishment. Sources close to the team assure that the case would lead to dismissals for the person(s) responsible for the publication. “We will open the relevant investigations to understand the origin of the tweet and we will act accordingly internally. We call for fair play also off the pitch, where we all add to the spectacle, coexistence and the development of our football”, concluded Atlas.
