‘Bang’ at the intersection… Both drivers killed in taxi-car collision

Last night (11th) at an intersection in Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province, a taxi and a car collided and both drivers died. This afternoon, the bus that was running on the Yeongdong Expressway caught fire.

The body has come off so much that the parts are visible.

At around 9:30 last night, a taxi and a car collided at an intersection in Songak-eup, Dangjin-si, Chungcheongnam-do.

In the accident, a car driver in their 30s and a taxi driver in their 60s were taken to the hospital, but died, and a woman in her 50s, a taxi passenger, was seriously injured.

Police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, believing that the driver of the car rushed toward the guard rail and collided with a taxi that was going straight.

At 2:40 pm today, a fire broke out on a 45-seater bus that was running near the Yeoju Interchange on the Yeongdong Expressway in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province.

There were no passengers and the driver was evacuated and there were no injuries.

Fire officials believe the fire started from the side of the bus wheel and are investigating the cause of the fire.

At around 9 am today, a fire broke out in a plastic house of a waste company in Gaehwa-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and it was completely extinguished in about two hours.

Eight employees working at the company were evacuated and there were no injuries.

Police and fire departments are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
