Doha: Qatar is among the top 10 countries that ensure the best quality of life for expatriate women. Qatar was ranked 8th in this year’s report by International’s Expat Insider. It is also ranked 26th in the list of best countries in the world for expats.

It ranks 4th in the Health and Wellbeing category of the Quality of Life Index and 8th in the Expat Essentials Index. Kuwait is also in the top 10 among the Gulf countries in the index. Qatar is ranked 17th in Digital Life, 10th in Admin, 24th in Accommodation and 4th in Language. The survey conducted in the digital life section is based on the government’s online services, internet speed at homes and unlimited online access.

Ease of getting a visa, dealing with local bureaucracy and opening a local bank account were also considered in the admin matters. Four out of five Gulf countries ranked in the top 10 in the language category in a survey based on whether or not it would be easy to live without knowing the local language. Availability and cost of accommodation were considered in the housing category.

This is the result of a survey conducted among 12,000 people of 177 nationalities living in 181 countries. The survey was conducted to find out the satisfaction of expatriates on various issues such as quality of life in the countries, ease of accommodation, work abroad and personal financial situation in the country of residence.

Recently, Qatar ranked first in the Middle East and 23rd out of 163 countries globally in the Global Peace Index.

Qatar was ranked 18 out of 64 countries in this year’s World Competitiveness Yearbook.

The survey was conducted in 181 countries
