Big Bang’s Daesung Returns to Entertainment After 12 Years
Daesung, a member of the popular group Big Bang, is set to make his comeback to the entertainment industry after a 12-year hiatus. Known for his wit and charming appearances on hit shows like ‘Family Outing’ and ‘Every Night’, Daesung will join MBN’s ‘Active Singer’ as a judge in the second half of this year.
Having previously showcased his versatility as a solo artist, exploring genres like rock, ballad, and trot with songs such as ‘Smile,’ ‘Look at Me, Gwisun,’ ‘Daebak!,’ and ‘Cotton Candy,’ fans are eager to witness his judgment in the realm of Trot Survival.
The production team expressed high expectations, stating, “By adding Daesung, who possesses a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for music, we believe that the trust in him as the ‘executive king of singers’ will only grow stronger.”
Last April, Daesung signed an exclusive contract with R&D Company and has since been actively engaged in domestic and international activities.
