Thiruvananthapuram: A police officer who was being treated died after his bike hit a stopped lorry. Hiranraj (47) died in Kallara Maruthaman Hiran Vilas, a well-known cyclist in Kerala. He was an officer in SP rural office at Wix Bhawan, Thiruvananthapuram.
The accident happened last Wednesday. While doing cycling training in Kovalam district, the bike lost control and rammed into a stopped truck. He was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. But he died early this morning.
