The deceased’s name is Yasin Arafat (26). He was on life support at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. The death toll in this incident so far stands at 23.
He died at Burn Institute around 8 pm today. The coordinator of the institute confirmed the death. Samant Lal Sen. He said that Yashin died around 8 pm. 55 percent of his body was burnt. He was in critical condition from day one.
The deceased Yasin Arafat is the son of Abdul Khalek of Begumganj Upazila of Noakhali. At present, Mama lived in Mohammad Azim’s house in Moghbazar area of the capital. The deceased’s mother Varna Begum said that Yasin used to work in a shop called Bangladesh Sanitary in Siddique Bazar.
