Brighton defeated Crystal Palace this evening, Saturday, 4-1, in the framework of the English Premier League competition for the 2023/24 season.
The two teams met today, at the Falmer Stadium, in the 23rd round of the Premier League.
Defender Louis Dunk opened the scoring for Brighton in the third minute, Jack Henshilwood added the second goal for the hosts in the 33rd minute, and Facundo Bonanoti increased the score with the third goal in the 34th minute.
John Philippe Mateta reduced the deficit for the visitors in the 71st minute, and Brazilian Joao Pedro finished off Brighton’s goals in the 84th minute.

With that result, Brighton jumped to seventh place in the English Premier League standings with 35 points, while Crystal Palace’s score froze at point number 24 in fourteenth place.
