New Delhi Businessman Claims Affidavit in Corruption Controversy Not Due to Pressure

Lok Sabha Question Unveils Surprising Allegations

In a recent development, businessman Darshan Hiranandani denied succumbing to any external influence while filing an affidavit in the ongoing corruption controversy. Addressing the Lok Sabha, Hiranandani further revealed that, to his astonishment, he had utilized the parliamentary login details of Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra to post his questions from Dubai.

Affidavit Raises Eyebrows

Hiranandani’s sworn statement submitted to the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee admitted to receiving the password and login information from Moitra herself. This startling revelation has left many perplexed, prompting an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Counterclaim Challenges Allegations

Meanwhile, Mahua Moitra has countered these allegations, stating that she was coerced by the Prime Minister’s office to sign a white paper and subsequently leak it to the media. However, Darshan Hiranandani vehemently denies any such involvement by the Prime Minister’s office. In an exclusive interview with Times Now, Hiranandani asserted that Moitra’s intention behind targeting the Adani group was to indirectly criticize the Prime Minister, given their shared state and close ties.

When asked whether any Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, were aligning themselves with Moitra in opposition to the Adani Group, Hiranandani chose not to respond. Instead, he emphasized that his affidavit contained all the necessary information and reiterated that the personal accusations had put him in a challenging position.
