Castile Launches Public Beta Test and Announces Token Rewards
Castile, the Aptos-based Roguelike role-playing game, has officially launched a one-month public beta test, set to run from September 10 to October 10, 2024, Beijing time. The test will be available on iOS, Android, and PC platforms, offering players a chance to experience the game’s unique blend of Roguelike and RPG elements.
Game developer Nytro Lab has secured an additional $8 million in financing, bringing the total to $25 million. This latest round of funding was led by SevenX Ventures, with OKX Ventures, Aptos Labs, and HashKey Capital also participating. The funds will be used to drive monthly content updates, launch community activities, and expand cooperation.
Castile’s gameplay combines the core elements of Roguelike with RPG features, utilizing NFT technology to facilitate in-game card market transactions. Since the alpha test in May, the game has introduced four new features, including powerful tarot accessories, the use of tarot coins to purchase equipment, boss battle races, and a new tournament mode. As part of the public beta test, 10 million CAST tokens will be distributed as rewards to players before the official token issuance.
