Cha Yoo-ram and Yong Hyeon-ji make a star match in the round of 32! ‘Empress’ Kim Ga-young also reached the round of 32

Cha Yu-ram, who joined the People Power Party in May 2022 and declared retirement from active duty, returned to professional billiards after a year and 10 months on January 31 of this year.

Cha Yoo-ram, who made her comeback by easily defeating Oh Ji-yeon in the PPQ round on the 4th, advanced to the upper rounds by defeating Park Ga-eun in the PQ round and then ‘underdog’ Park Da-som in the round of 64.

Cha Yu-ram played ahead throughout the day. He scored 5 runs in 8 innings, greatly outscoring Park Da-som by 14-1. Park Da-som threatened Cha Yu-ram by scoring 9 high runs in 10 innings. After that, both players gradually accumulated points, reaching a tie of 19-19 after 17 innings.

However, Cha Yu-ram’s back was stronger. He scored 6 runs in the 18th inning to tie the game at 25-20.

Cha Yu-ram had previously expressed her determination to do her best in this competition, saying in her return interview that she had “practiced intensively for about 5 days.”

Yong Hyun-ji (High1 Resort), who played at the same time at another table, maintained her lead over Yoon Young-mi and won 20-16, smoothly advancing to the round of 32.

As a result, the match between Cha Yu-ram and Yong Hyeon-ji in the LPBA round of 32 to be held on the 6th was concluded.

‘Empress’ Kim Ga-young (Hana Card), who faced Choi Bo-ram at the first table, also chased after her. Choi Bo-ram, who was behind by 4 points, overcame Kim Ga-young once by scoring 5 high runs in 11 innings. Kim Ga-young, who was being chased, countered with the same high run of 5 runs in the 17th inning and regained a stable lead. As time expired, Kim Ga-young, who was ahead 23-18, won.

Kim Ga-young, who lifted the final champion trophy in the recently concluded ‘Welcome Savings Bank PBA Team League’, will clash with Choi Yeon-ju in the round of 32 of the individual tour.
