The French champions are eager to secure their first Champions League title, a feat that has eluded them despite massive spending and a revolving door of world-class players.
Coach Luis Enrique expressed his determination to bring the coveted trophy to Paris. ”The motivation for me is to win the Champions League title for the first time for PSG,” Enrique said. “That is the gift I want to give the people, the club, the city.”
PSG’s journey to the final has seen them overcome formidable opponents, including Manchester City and Liverpool. The team’s current focus on developing young French talent marks a shift from its previous strategy of acquiring high-profile superstars.

Martinez, a World Cup winner, leads Inter’s attack and is the club’s all-time leading scorer in the Champions League. “I’ve won big trophies, but I’m missing the Champions League,” Martinez said. “I’m happy to be in another final. We want to have the perfect game and bring the trophy back to Milan.”
Luis Enrique, a Champions League winner with Barcelona in 2015, aims to become only the seventh coach to win the title with two different teams. Simone Inzaghi, Inter’s coach, seeks his first Champions League title after losing to Manchester City in 2023.
“Matches don’t come down to wage bills or turnover, it’s the players on the pitch,” Inzaghi said. “We were huge underdogs two years ago and went toe to toe.”
